Mel cabin, Tahoe Meadows
To access the cabin, you will need to enter Tahoe Meadows through the gate on highway 50 (star). From there, proceed to our cabin at 3851 Beach Road, South Lake Tahoe CA 96150 (Google maps). Parking inside Tahoe Meadows will be limited. Our cabin is a leisurely 20-25 minute walk from downtown South Lake Tahoe.
August 26
If you're in town, come hang out and get to know the other guests. Enjoy beach volleyball, ping-pong, beach games, the lake, or just lounging on the beach!
August 27
We tie the knot. Cocktails, dinner, and dancing to follow!
Smart casual
Look nice, but not too nice! Many of our guests will be travelling long distances with limited suitcase space, so let's keep this occasion classy but casual.
As the ceremony will be held on the beach, be sure to bring comfortable, beach-proof shoes. Dinner will be served around sunset time, so bring something warm! (A typical August day in Tahoe is 79/50F, or 26/10C.)
Transportation
From San Francisco: Amtrack offers a mixed train/bus route to Stateline Transit Center (SLH) or South Y Transit center (SLY).
From Reno: South Tahoe Airporter offers bus service from the Reno airport to Harvey's Casino in Stateline, NV.
Carpooling: Alternatively, you can look for other guests who'd like to carpool to/from Tahoe here.

We recommend searching for accommodations either via airbnb.com or through the many hotels available in South Lake Tahoe, CA and Stateline, NV. Connect with other guests who are interested in sharing accommodations here.

We met in 2015 at a 2 week neuroscience course in Florence, Italy. We fell in love inside the classroom and in a cute little plaza where the class went almost every night. The course ended, and after a teary-eyed goodbye, we went our seperate ways thinking we'd never see eachother again. We survived life apart for about 6 hours. Then one message, then another, then thousands more... the rest is history!
